central location helpful staff super clean room
the hotel had a central location, very convenient. the staff proved helpful throughout my stay. my room was super clean and recently refurbished. complimentary drinks in the fridge were a NICE touch!
The cooked breakfast service felt a little disorganised. It was part buffet, part à la carte.

the Emberwood restaurant offered a fantastic dining experience, complemented by a well-stocked bar. I noticed the classic style extended to the furniture, wallpaper, and taklamps. This created a PERFECTLY cohesive atmosphere.

The location is amazing! it's so close to everything. i visited very nice restaurants, roman baths, and the thermal spa. It was perfect for exploring. the staff was also very good. i found them friendly, professional, and helpful throughout my stay.
my only minor issue was that the bathroom could have been slightly larger, but it was perfectly functional otherwise.

breakfast buffet good location helpful staff car park public car park
The breakfast buffet was really good. it had lots of choices and gluten-free options too. the staff were friendly! and very helpful. i thought the location was the best thing. It is right in the city centre.
the car park barrier did not open. reception told me it had been closed for months. i had to park at a public car park, that was annoying. also, there was a lot of noise, i couldn't really relax in my room during the day.

i stayed in a newly refurbished room. it was spacious and well-appointed. the location was central, and i found it convenient for exploring. the staff were friendly and cute, a definite plus.
my stay coincided with ongoing refurbishment. there was no gym available at the time. i also found the bed and pillows to be uncomfortable. these issues detracted from the overall experience, especially considering the price.
